Sorry if you folks are getting tired of that Town Hall Meeting on the 11th, but were items put out that I think are of interest to some if not all? With a City Council Meeting on the 28th, would like to get all of this out so folks have some idea of what is/ is not going on.
Mr. Frasier: Employees after one (1) year service get 10 days Vacation, 15 days Sick Leave, 12 Holidays off, plus one day before Xmas/ New Years. Total of 37 days lost time each year.
Allow me this: When I comment on most things as I am posting them, I do it in RED. But, I have been told that it does not come through on Facebook and some systems. So today, where you see NOTE: at the beginning of a comment and than :ETON, is the start and end of my comment on that area.
Mr. Conley back on JM and River Site. Last Council Meeting asked if DEP had Risk Assessment. Answer from either Mr. Rapp or Mr. Leach was NO. Today (11th), called Mr. Hancock (Derrick to those who are now personal friends), at DEP. DEP now has its own "Reviewer" so it should reduce costs and speed up process. Expect City to have response from DEP in next 30 days. There are area hotspots that will require "Capping". Did not say how many, but currently a bit of an argument on how many truckloads of dirt to be brought in? Will be bringing in a layer of dirt at whatever depth; place a fabric cover over that and than another layer of dirt. (NOTE: It was not so long ago that Mr. Rapp was saying there were only nine (9), 5' x5' x 2' deep spots to be covered with concrete and blended into the walking path. Again and yet again, we have misinformation, misdirection deceit, deception and when the facts can be twisted what seems to be a lie? It now seems that we are getting back too where we were before when large amounts of dirt were dumped over the East side of the Park. And may I remind you about those 700 kids pumped down on that site to play Soccer? IF and I repeat IF the West side needs a dirt covering to "Cap" the contaminates then why is someone NOT in jail for child endangerment? It was put out by Mr. Rapp that there were NO contaminants on that side of the Park. Image, Legacy, Ego. Are we all expendable? :ETON)
This layering will allow DEP to observe the wear on the top layer and as necessary to bring in additional dirt covering. This will be a "continual" maintenance item. After a couple of floods (NOTE: and we have for sure had one with a "I don't know what happened on last Thursday (21st)" as a second IF that Cap had been in place :ETON), then the dirt would be replaced and tamped down.
Ms. Powell: That is what plan was. That was part of $240,000., Grant. Not sure how much how much will be left? NOTE: Not sure this is correct? Seems the Grant was for asbestos removal and general cleaning of upper site? And I have been advised that the 2015, 2016 and 2017 Grant Applications have been rewritten for some reason or another. Considering what was pointed out in the Complaint by Mr. Uhl to EPA on the 2016- 2017 Applications, would think it would hard to try and change the issues now? City said a lot of things in Applications that were very, very questionable and by than signing the form, would possibly be considered Perjury? :ETON.
Mr. Conley: Asked Mr. Hancock if he had ever talked to Triad in the past? Response back to him was a "NO".
Mr. C: Have you ever worked with Triad in the past? Response from DEP was another "NO". Everything that DEP has is from Tom Rebar (CMI).
Mr. C: If I showed you information that showed emphatically that further testing be done?
Mr. Hancock: No, we are done. City has already done what we told them to do. If a barrel is down there, or chromium bricks in ravine, are deep enough and contained.
Ms. Powell: Surface and subsurface testing. I spoke to Derrick (note the name dropping to show a high degree of intimacy/ familiarity. :ETON), about the Chromium Bricks and how the Ravine had gotten filled to that level? He did not answer on that. Then I brought up the flooding coming in, will go out with that water.
Is it possible that Ms. Powell's numerous calls to Mr. Hancock are somehow lumped into Mr. Leach's comment on all the calls Mr. Conley was said to be making to Mr. Hancock? Is she or has she somehow given him the impression she is representing Mr. Conley?
Almost folks, almost. Next time will finish the Town Hall Meeting. 'nuff said'.
