As though of you who read the posting yesterday and a lot of you did, I put the following in as an aside. Than as I thought about what I read as I went back and reviewed both the posting here, but on Facebook for spelling errors, I realized how True it is for Vienna and even Boaz.
As Chemour/ DuPont attempt to allegedly evade their responsibilities for possible liabilities to the State of Ohio, they have sadly and I do mean sadly with the contrivance of many in our City Administrations of the past years avoided the needed and much deserved Testing/ Monitoring of OUR Communities for potential C8 Health Issues.
"Not really sure as too what this would really mean if anything in the long run to us? But anytime someone gets a case dismissed where massive wrong has been done to a group of usually unprotected and unknowing people, it bears a lot of watching".
NOTE: BOE Meeting
There will be a Board of Education Meeting at Jackson Middle School on Tuesday, the 24th of July at 6:30 P.M. Purpose among other issues will be the need to do improvements such as "Bathrooms" and Handicap Access" to the upper floor of the building.
I can hope that in my humble efforts when advised of the problems there to make it an issue on my Blog a couple of times that some of you stood up and demanded that these children whether yours or not were assisted to readily get from class to class. And even the use of proper facilities for their personal needs?
I had tried to find Ms. Hendershots (BOE), phone number, to talk to her, but she was not listed and as I have said if you wish to be an Elected Official, access should not be a secret except to a chosen few.
It was also said by a reader and no longer much of a supporter that he/she/ it had problems which I noted because it was a stand up thing to do. But got caught up in what is alleged to be some of another person's special interest group and one of the BFF's started another unneeded problem in Vienna. Fine to me though as flakes falling elsewhere allow me to enjoy the Sunshine of Truth here.
Have found here that even while trying to help one in whatever way I could, some will be stabbing me in the back while being recognized for deserving better treatment. But sadly, it is what I am programmed to do.
Moving on a bit, I noted a comment from someone who has lived in Vienna for somewhere between 50 and 100 years that the Deer (Bambi to most of you), had apparently cleaned out the Flower, Garden and even some Trees among the endangered Flora. Deer to those that know have been since the First Garden was planted and the Trees from God grew in our World have been a Buffet to them. So should be little surprise there. Just a couple of years back the little Ba******s ate my wife's flowers right down to the ground. Won't eat the damn Quince though for some reason?
1. In any case it has been said for many years to plant Marigolds among whatever one wishes to survive as supposedly Bambi does not like them, so repelled?
2. Than I have heard that by taking strands of hair from one's brush or comb (for those who still have any hair long enough to qualify) and put it on the plants. Guess that the natural human scent or the spray's/ dye's (and I would suspect more the Dye's), will repel them?
3. And finally, what I use since I am a bit shy on hair these days of any length and my wife doesn't want to do it, is to use a repellant that the Deer and Rabbits supposedly don't like? I have had very good results with this spray for the past few years after they cleaned them out last time. This year one or two deer got some of the Flowers on my wife's Lilly Plants. But seemed each time to stop after just a very few Flowers due to smell or taste? So far (knock on wood), no Rabbits seen in front. The rest have done very well for a change and were beautiful this year and abundant. Now of course we seem to be past their cycles, but still lots of leaves.
Does it work on other Varmints like Cats (dig everything up) or Squirrel's (bulbs)? Don't think so?
Here is a suggestion that since the City did not have a three acre site per State DNR to do anything about the Deer via a Deer Hunt, that the City instead do an Ordinance (which of course could be ignored), that when the Deer do damage to Garden Plants, Flowers and Trees that a person can with the proof of purchase and a photograph or two, can submit a claim to the City for damages. Now this would need fine tuning such as only one (1), claim per year for an item. With of course a limit on the amount of the Claim? After all, multiple tries for Tomatoes would be a bit much? Would need a new receipt for that year/ pictures, but is at least another idea Mr. Rapp can ignore or redo under his name or a sycophant to get it done. Not important who, as long as done if it can help? 'nuff said'
